LOVE CHINA RADIO
Love Music - Love Life
Advertise on Love China
Love China will shortly be accepting a limited number of
commercials.
Why advertise on Radio?
Radio is personal, it's considered a friend and is trusted.
Radio listeners actually notice the ads! People can avert their eyes
from
press or banner ads, but listeners cannot close their ears! They
actually don't turn off when the ads come on.
Why Internet Radio?
Internet stations are often
highly specialised so provide advertisers with a highly targeted audience
- therefore, for the right product, advertising on internet radio can be
more cost-effective than general media where the overwhelming majority
wouldn't be interested in the sales proposition. People tend to
listen 'close-up' using speakers right on their desk in front of them, or
using earphones - they're not going to miss your ad or glance away from
it!
Internet radio provides a
far wider selection of stations than terrestrial radio. Therefore, people
tune around more - they can be less loyal. This is actually a good
thing for advertisers - it means you're not just hitting exactly the same
small audience every time. Advertising Executives often point out that
radio is a "repetition medium", and that's true to a point, but there's an
optimum number of times a listener needs to hear an ad if they're going to
act on it - beyond a few times is just wastage. Internet stations have a
nice churn of audience within their demographic, so advertisers can leave
an ad running and it can reach a new audience every month.
Why LOVE CHINA?
Because our listener demographic fits your target demographic perfectly.
Our music policy is to play popular Mandarin and Cantonese hits from the
last ten years. This will appeal to listeners who are old enough to
have disposable income, but young enough to be receptive to advertising.
The station is music driven with little chat, therefore it
crosses language divides.
One-third of our audience
listen using an Apple iPhone or iPod Touch, i.e. they're listening on
earphones. There is no better way to get a message inside somebody's head!
We are reaching the iPod generation!
We will only accept 2
minutes of advertising per hour, your ad will not get lost among other
ads. Book before we're sold out! Our packages start at $5US per
1,000 impacts (see below).

Audience Demographic
Listeners are not required
to register in order to listen to Love China, so we do not have statistics
for demographics such as age and sex, but considering the newness of
internet radio, our listenership is likely to comprise young, savvy, professionals
and include international
business people, their families,
students studying abroad and others having associations with Chinese
speaking communities. They're people worth talking to!
A third of our listeners
use their iPhone or iPod Touch to listen to
Love China. We assume our listeners to
be wealthier than average, bearing in mind the cost of iPhones and the
like.
Apple OS3 will now play Love China directly on mobiles, rather than
requiring users to download an app, therefore, we're expecting numbers to
increase further as OS3 is adopted by users.
We cannot publicise the exact size of our audience
on the internet, but we will supply figures to potential advertisers upon
request
(eMail).
